On 19th November, Adopt A River had a field visit with Ministry of Agriculture to the Guanapo Watershed. Sites along the Heights of Guanapo Road were identified for the construction of check dams which will help reduce the silt runoff to the river. (more…)

Today, Adopt A River and the Global Water Partnership (GWPC) partnered to host a training programme for communities participating in the World Rivers Day programme. Twelve communities came out to learn about the importance of water, rivers and water management. It was a very fruitful discussion and learning exercise.
