Adopt A River and CYEN visit Arima Girls RC and Arima Boys RC schools.

The Caribbean Youth Environmental Network (CYEN) has embarked on a series of school tours in a project called the “Water Warriors School Caravan” and Adopt A River was there to lend our support.

Check out pics from one of our first Water Warriors’s Training Programme. This programme was held in Guanapo where we trained 25 community members in testing water using a basic water quality testing kit. They were also taught in first aid in order to ensure their safety in the field.

The Guanapo Community & Environmental Development Organisation (G-CEDO) first water quality testing in the Guanapo River.
On October 20th 2012 G-CEDO members visited 4 sites along the Guanapo River to collect water samples and perform field tests for 7 parameters
