Congratulations Dr. Denise Beckles and the Department of Chemistry!!!
The University of the West Indies (UWI) recently hosted their UWI NGC Research Awards 2016. The UWI Adopt A River Project won two awards:
– Most Impacting Research Project
– Best Research Team – Encouraging Multi-disciplinary Research

This was a great achievement not just for UWI but for the multidisciplinary team consisting of WASA, SWMCOL and CIMH (Barbados).
Congratulations to Dr. Beckles! Congrats to the team of researchers and technocrats that made this project so successful!
This makes it four awards that have been won by projects under the programme.
