PPGPL is a local company owned by the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGC), Trinidad and Tobago NGL Limited (TTNGL) and and Pan West Engineers & Constructors Inc. The company was formed in May 1989 and is located in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate, Trinidad.
PPGPL has one of the largest gas processing facilities in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its core business is natural gas processing, NGL aggregation, fractionating and marketing. The company provides high quality natural gas to its customer by processing raw, natural gas delivered to its facility from the existing natural gas pipeline system.
The processed natural gas is delivered to downstream facilities that use it as a fuel and feedstock. The extracted NGLs is fractionated into three components: propane, butane and natural gasoline, which are marketed in the Caribbean, Central America and further afield.

In this way the health of the river can be ensured whilst building capacities in communities in the areas of public health, education and social development
