Adopt A River and the Global Water Partnership (GWPC) World Water Day training programme

Today, Adopt A River and the Global Water Partnership (GWPC) partnered to host a training programme for communities participating in the World Rivers Day programme. Twelve communities came out to learn about the importance of water, rivers and water management. It was a very fruitful discussion and learning exercise.

It’s World Rivers Day 2016 this Sunday! The Cashew Gardens “A Model Community” will be joining WASA Trinidad & Tobago and their Adopt A River Trinidad & Tobago initiative to clean up the Caparo River and environs from 10am. We will be starting from Japs junction into Ravine Sable road. We encourage everyone to join in this effort and help raise awareness of our watersheds and the negative impact pollution has on them.
