AAR distributes LaMotte Testing Kits to Community Groups

On Friday 22nd June the Adopt A River Implementation Unit distributed LaMotte testing kits, gifted by the Caribbean Youth Environmental Network, to community groups in the Arima Watershed. Following the successful Water Warriors Training held at the Arima Town Hall last February, three groups were given kits to perform water quality testing along the Arima River. Recipients included the Arima First Peoples, Asa Wright Nature Centre, and the Agricultural Society of Trinidad and Tobago. These community groups are committed to the improvement of their watershed and the testing kits will empower them to monitor the water quality within the watershed and add that data to the national database.
