The Adopt A River Programme (AARP) in conjunction with other stakeholders was pleased to participate in a Career Day initiative hosted by the Arima R.C. Primary School on Friday 6th March 2026.<\/p>\n
Over 350 students comprising Infants 1 to Standard 5 and teachers were engaged throughout the day on the AARP Mobile Unit, interacting with various learning tools on display, including the equipment used for water quality testing.
\nStudents learnt about some water facts, the water cycle, water conservation and the importance of watersheds. They were told of the work and activities of the AARP and WASA, and the various job opportunities in the water sector!<\/p>\n
