The third instalment of the annual RiverSpeak spoken word competition was held virtually for the first time. The competition which usually features live performances was instead completely hosted through video submissions and online voting. Following the success of the first edition “River Speak” Spoken Word competition, the decision was made to hold a successive competition. The Implementation Unit of the Adopt A River Programme hosted its first spoken word competition under the theme, “Speak out in Defense of Our Rivers”. The competition directly targeted Secondary Schools’ Environmental Clubs or the general school population for those without clubs.
