RiverSpeak Spoken Word Competition

We at the Adopt A River Programme (AARP) and the water and sewerage authority want to hear about it. RiverSpeak 3 – “Water: Value, Conserve, Restore”

The third instalment of the annual RiverSpeak spoken word competition was held virtually for the first time. The competition which usually features live performances was instead completely hosted through video submissions and online voting. RiverSpeak 2 – “Our Rivers, Our Watersheds, Our Responsibility”

Following the success of the first edition “River Speak” Spoken Word competition, the decision was made to hold a successive competition. RiverSpeak 1 – “Speak Out in Defence of Our Rivers”

The Implementation Unit of the Adopt A River Programme hosted its first spoken word competition under the theme, “Speak out in Defense of Our Rivers”. The competition directly targeted Secondary Schools’ Environmental Clubs or the general school population for those without clubs.
