The Lengua Presbyterian Primary School, located between Barrackpore and Princess Town, in the South Oropouche Watershed, hosted their Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M) themed Career Day on Wednesday 29th May, 2024 at the school’s compound.
Over 100 students between the ages of 5 to 13 were engaged in topics which spoke to the use of S.T.E.M in Watershed management and protection, understanding the importance of water and water conservation.
The AARP Mobile Unit was put to good use as demonstrations were conducted on how to use our testing equipment on samples collected through water quality monitoring.
