The Disaster Management Unit of the San Juan/Laventille Regional Corporation held an Environmental Exhibition to commemorate World Environment Day on Friday 7th June 2024, at the San Juan Promenade.
World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5th annually. This year’s theme focused on Generation Restoration and the importance of restoring land, combating desertification and becoming drought resilient.
The AARP team was pleased to participate through the hosting of an exhibition booth alongside other agencies which included Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, SWMCOL, Forestry Division, Las Cuevas Eco Friendly Association, Serpenterium Petting Zoo and the Corporation’s Health Division.
