Following the installation of over 100ft of Vetiver plants at the Digity Mud Volcano in November 2023, River Bank Stabilization Project Signs were installed at the site on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. Alderman Gowtam Maharaj, Chairman of the Penal Debe Regional Corporation and his team, conducted the necessary work for the installation. Mr. Raven Ramsawak, President of the Penal Debe Foundation was also on hand overseeing the exercise.
Through various initiatives, the AARP continue the goal of managing and restoring our rivers and watersheds through activities and projects with adopters, partners and other stakeholders. Remember, it’s Our Watersheds, Our Responsibility, Our Future!!!
