CLEAN UP AT CARENAGE

On Friday, November 17th 2023, the Adopt A River Team comprising 5 members, was joined by volunteers to conduct a clean-up exercise at the Seaview River, L’anse Mitan, Carenage. An assortment of items was removed from the surrounding area by the participating team.
Approximately 100lbs (5 bags) of discarded items comprising general waste, and glass and plastic recyclables were collected. Tree branches and pieces of wood were also set aside for collection by the Corporation.

We encourage all citizens, groups and environmentally-minded individuals to get involved! Let’s continue to create cleaner rivers and a cleaner environment! Remember its Our Watersheds, Our Responsibility, Our Future!!!
