A river clean-up was conducted in the northeast region of Tobago on Saturday, June 24, 2023. An assortment of items was removed from the banks of the Richmond River by seventeen members of the public who joined the Adopt A River Programme-led exercise. Approximately 355lbs (19 bags) of discarded material, which comprised general waste and recyclables, were collected. Sheets of galvanise, household appliances, and floor tiles were also set aside for collection.
