THE FINAL LEG OF OUR ‘KNOW YOUR WATERSHED’ BUS TOURS

The final leg of our ‘Know Your Watershed’ Bus Tours took us to our lovely Twin Island of Tobago on Saturday, April 6th 2024. We trekked through the Hillsborough West, Hillsborough Dam and Roxborough Watersheds stopping at various places of interest including the Corbin Local Wildlife Park, the Hillsborough Dam and the beautiful Argyle Waterfall!
Participants were awed by the information received at all the sites. There was a better understanding of the relationship between nature, animals and humans at Corbin Wildlife, and understanding the processes as it pertains to water collection, treatment and distribution at Hillsborough Dam. The final tour stop, saw folks enjoying the nice cool waters at Argyle Falls completing the day’s activities as it started, on a high note!
