In keeping with our mandate of watershed management and public education, the Adopt A River Programme visited our beautiful Twin Island on Wednesday, September 20th to conduct two outreaches with the L’anse Formi Methodist and Roxborough Primary Schools respectively.
Over 80 children at both schools were engaged by team member Eldon Coker, who shared information on recycling, the importance of rivers, the importance of water for our bodies and everyday use, water conservation, watershed and environmental awareness and various ways we can protect them.
