In continuing to educate the nation’s youth on the importance of water conservation, the water cycle and raise awareness on environmental issues, the AARP Team visited the St. James Public Library on July 14th, to engage participants of the 3-week Vacation Camp which ends on July 28th.
The children who ranged in ages 7 to 12, were quite eager to share their knowledge on water and answer questions posed by team presenter Mr. Darion Fraser. The library staff was pleased with the information presented and expressed an interest for further collaborations to conduct similar sessions in the future!
