AARP WATER WARRIORS CAMP TIME SERIES. LA JOYA!!!

All hands were on deck as we engaged a large camp group on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 at the La Joya Vacation Camp, St Joseph. Two groups of children ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 13 were engaged by the AARP’s Outreach Officers Audra Francis-Smith, Dinnisha Rampersad, Darion Fraser and Eldon Coker. Some activities included singing, story telling and games!

Over 40 children were taught the importance of rivers, water conservation and the use of water for our bodies and our health. Information was also shared to raise awareness about our environment and various ways to protect it.
