PPGPL is a joint venture company owned by the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGC) and Pan West Engineers & Constructors Inc., with NGC being the major shareholder. The company was formed in May 1989 and is located in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate, Trinidad.
PPGPL is one of the largest natural gas processing facilities in the western hemisphere. Raw natural gas is transported to their facility for processing and treatment; the result is natural gas of a high quality standard that is delivered to their clientele in Trinidad & Tobago and the wider world.
PPGPL is a committed corporation that adheres to the highest standards of quality and social responsibility. To demonstrate their corporate social responsibility, PPGPL has embarked on the Adopt-a-River Programme, with the aim to improve river water quality for communities. The company intends to raise the awareness of local watershed issues in communities and engage in improvement projects for the river. In this way the health of the river can be ensured whilst building capacities in communities in the areas of public health, education and social development.
